Short Stories

This section lists some short stories I've written. More may soon follow.

The Rose (March 1989) - I wrote this story as a final assignment in English Prose Fiction in my senior year at UM-Flint. It was one of the five stories selected to read in front of the class. I wasn't even sure if anyone would get the symbolism. Apparently, I had more of a knack for it than I thought. Hopefully, you'll get something out of it, too.

The Soul (July 2002) - I was thinking about writing this story for a long time, and finally sat down to write it in July 2002. It is a similar story to The Rose, but deals with the subjects in a more developed way.
